Hi Ross,

If you fail miserably with Linux I'm fairly sure i still have a set of Win
3.11 floppies around somewhere.

Another thing you could maybe look at is QNX - I'm not sure if it would do
what you want but there's a very impressive demo on the web www.qnx.com
which packs a mini kernel, editor, web browser, web server, file manager,
web pages etc., etc. all onto one floppy!
