There is a 286 port in progress, I believe, but no, a 386 is minimum (086
VM's, 32 bit, etc etc...

Sorry. Yes, a dx2 would be nice with 16Mb in it. I have run KDE at a
decent enough rate on a DX4-75, with 24Mb as it happens. StarOffice took
little over 25 minutes to load. LaTeX is your friend (as opposed to latex)
