The kernel needs SCSI and SCSI disk support, and from that point it needs the
Iomega PPA driver...depending on how your dist is installed, you maybe okay;
try typing "modprobe ppa" or "modprobe imm" (depending on the age of the
drive; old drives use the ppa module, newer ones the imm one. According to
Documentation/Configure.help, then if the cable that comes with the drive is
labeled "Autodetect", then its probably a new drive) and see if any SCSI
hosts are detected.
After that point, just treat it as any other SCSI disk using the traditional
mount, umount, ls, cp et al commands :)
If there is another way to access a Zip drive, then I don't know about it :)
But this should do the job.
