[Sheflug] FreeBSD 4.1 problems

Has anyone here tried FreeBSD 4.1 and had problems configuring the network
interface to come up at boot time or am I being thick?

There seems to be a problem with the config script which fails to write
the relevant line into /etc/defaults/rc.conf. Adding "ifconfig ep0
<address> netmask 0xffffff00" brought the network up as expected at boot.

I'm off to RTFM at freebsd.org.....
