The real ones ran at 10Mbit...  I've got one at home, about the size of a
small apartment, with BNC and AUI connectors only; it apparently cost
about $500 when it was new (back when the NZ Dollar was worth more than
the peso).  Ouch.  It's got about 40 jumpers and you need the original
Novell networking manual to figure out how to configure the thing :)

I don't know if anyone's got an NE2K-clone that does 100Mbit, but I'd
rather use a Tulip or a 3Com card for 100Mbit stuff anyway :)
