No, don't say that. It's easy to put new stuff onto an existing system,
or at least it is possible. Just try adding disks to Windows when your
C: drive is getting full. All you have to do to add a disk to a linux
machine is to choose a mount point, move all the existing stuff from
that mount point onto the new disk, and then to mount it. So, for example,
if your /usr  partition is getting full all you have to do is to put
some new partitions under /usr. You have /usr/X11 on a seperate disk, 
or /usr/local (those are the two biggies on my machine).
