Re: [Sheflug] Re: Partitioning
Yer what?
When I started with Linux, it was 1Gb partition on a 3.2Gb drive. Since
then, it expanded to:
all the 3.2Gb Drive
an 8.4Gb drive,
split between a 15Gb and 8.4Gb drive
All this without a single reinstall! Also, I regularly change the
partitions on my 8.4Gb drive (it something of a victim drive). I can
change partitions, reformat, do stuff, resize existing partitions
(parted) and such without ever needing to log off, never mind restarting
the computer!
Same with video, sound, mobo, etc etc. The machine I have now is NOT the
machine I started with! Literally everything is different (even keyboard
and floppy drive), but did I reinstall? nope!
Seems like some folk just don't try hard enough ;-)

Life would be so much easier if we
could just look at the source code.
