 I agree that arguing with anyone over vi or emacs (or whatever) is pointless. 
A
few chaps on the list can handle vi (I'm going to start using it) and I 
started
with Emacs way back when.
 I prefer Emacs, so I use it.
 Joe Bloggs likes vi, so he uses it.

 What is there to argue about?
