Re: }Re: [Sheflug] c++ & mem

I'm not going to bother quoting but two ponits ...

1. I could split hairs and say this is off topic ... :)
2. OO vs. Non-OO ... again use what *YOU* are comferatble with ... C++ and C
are just tools; use, within your judgement, what you think you should use.
Personally, yes, I've C++ed, and not been overly impressed, classing it as
another tool to use should I need it.

Give the OO vs. non-OO (or C++ vs. C) a rest...people differ -- programmers
verily... don't use C++ if you don't want to. anyting that can be done in one
can be done in the other (regardless of ease of use or replicacity of
source). Use what *YOU* as the programmer are comfertable with...

Why is it that language wars seem so much like OS wars, which seem very much
like religious wars at times? All I ask is that: resepect other peoples
preferesnces ... unless its worth arguing that language A is better than
language B, don't bother ... it causes threads as we've seen.Use what *YOU*
are happy with, and don't moan about other people's preferences...please?
Just for the sanity of the thing if nothing else ... else this thread will
never end ...

Chris...
