it hung after typeing the following into the command prompt
gcc -DMODULE  -D__KERNAL__ -I/usr/src/linux/net/inet
-Wall  -Wstrict -prototypes -O6 -c tulip.c
' [-f /usr/include/linux/modversions.h] && echo -DMODVERSIONS

at first i got >
after typing it in then i took the ' out and got

gcc.colorgcc: [: No such file or directory
gcc.colorgcc: ]: No such file or directory
tulip.c:161:pci-scan.h:No such file or directory
tulip.c:162:kern-compat.h:No such file or directory
gcc.colorgcc: compilation of header file requested

nope

i downloaded the source forge package it got the headers now where do i put
them?
