[Sheflug] Modem capabilites
Dear all,
I have been tinkering with my modem in the last few days. I have
realised that it is also a fax, which is useful (I suppose :D), and I am
intriged to know whether it's got voice capabilities, since I am moving
somewhere with a f0n3 l1n3 of my own, and I'd like to set the computer
up to receive faxes, answering machine and possibly remote logins.
However, I no longer have the manual (the CD, should I say). The
modem is a SupraExpress 56 Intl Sp (or thereabouts), ISA, PnP, and works
alright under linux. I would like to know whether the voice capabilities
are stored somewhere in the modem's registers. Any other tips/metatips
most welcome...
