I moved a pci graphics card from one PCI to another. On boot, X came up just like it always did. Modem worked too!

Anyway, can we stop with the Windoze thing? I think I'm getting a rash...

demanded I reinstall not only the video drivers but it reloaded the mobo 
resource drivers and then wanted the **external** modem drivers too!!
