[Sheflug] RE: Gentus



Don't change yer board! It will work fine with any other distro, but Abit made, erm, _special_ drivers which made it work better than the other, more generic drivers.

You could probably upgrade the system to Red Hat or Mandrake if Gentus is a Red Hat compatible distro?

Ouch. Explains a lot.  And I guess I'll have problems 
in upgrading my kernel now, so I'm stuck with my current 
Linux unless and until I replace the main board or get the 
shop to do it.
