[Sheflug] Removing a link

I've just done pretty much what you've suggested for my cdrom drive:

rm /dev/cdrom
ln -s /dev/hdg /dev/cdrom
chmod 777 /dev/cdrom (not like there's too much danger of deleting
stuff :-)

It didn't work as a normal user until I changed the permissions.
That might be the problem. Not sure with network links tho.
