Might be it. What version of kernel are you running? (You probably said,
but I can't find it :)

Not seen this message, so it may now be default to use interrupt driven
operation or something... it shouldn't make a difference though (apart
from speed under heavy load).

It is, honest. I just haven't done it for a while. :)
