Btw, viditur - if it does have a latin root from video (my latin's rather 
poor - but I used to have a better feel for the grammer than I do now) - the 
Latin/english dictionary I have says...:
vi'deo -e're vi'di vi'sum (vt.)
	See, look at; (mind) observe, be aware, know; consider
	think over; see to, look out for; live to see; (pass.)
	seem, appear; seem right, be thought proper.
So...I'd therefore suggest that:
	Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum viditur
translates to:
	Whatever is said in Latin, seems profound
