[Sheflug] Cray to Build Superclusters

Dear All

For those of you who don't know I thought I'd post the following......

My copy of Linux User just arrived and at page 10 there is the kind of
thing that knocks most people flat.

"Cray to build Linux superclusters on API hardware

API makers of the Alpha processor, and supercomputer firm Cray have
announced an alliance which will bring Linux to mission critical data
centres. API NetWorks will supply its CS20 rackmount 1U servers for
use in the Cray Super Cluster Series, claimed to be the world's first
mission critical supercomputers based on Linux."

Can't wait to see what this looks like inside Manchester Computing
Centre :)

Thanks

Richard
