[Sheflug] IDE SCSI (was Re: CD Writing)
You then have to tell it which drive to use. Compile it into the kernel (it's much easier that way, strangely enough) and edit lilo.conf
in the line starting 'append = "', and the following:
hdc=ide-scsi
assuming you want hdc to be supported by the SCSI driver. Insert the correct name, of course.
Then, change fstab to use /dev/scd0 rather than /dev/hdc for the cdrom drive, and there you go, one rather nice scsi-fied IDE device.

It's in the kernel config, but not in SCSI. Hang on a tic...
Aha. Turn on SCSI support, then go back to ATA/IDE/MFM/RLL support, IDE,
ATA andATAPI Block devices, and just under IDE Floppy support there'll be
the option to turn it on.
Voila! Knew it was in there somewhere...
