Last time I was involved with LWN they just dropped my mail in the
bin. They did the same with everyone else who wrote to them. They
just didn't understand what they were looking at.
This is in contrast with the UK Linux magazines who always show
interest. However, it's a fact that most meetings are organised after
the final date for publication. Even the RMS lecture was fraught with
many problems. Even up to the last minute we didn't have any idea
what was going to happen. The worst thing that happened with the RMS
talk was that a large box of Red Hat CDs vanished into thin air. I
don't want that to happen again.

This is not quite illegal but almost. Many list managers will be very
upset by this suggestion.
The best option is to go to a place like linux.co.uk or similar.
