I'm staying clear of NFS with my 2.4.x machine - it accesses an ext2 volume
exported from a 2.2 machine read-only - that's as good as it gets
without turning NFS off completely.
There are issues with NFS under 2.4, as well as the added problems with
ReiserFS, IIRC.
I have exported a directory from a ReiserFS partition under 2.4 to a
2.2 machine (read-only) - I'm taking it easy...
No problems there, apart from a slight nervousness :-)
