Excellent :-) What's your ip address again?
(/me digs through mail headers :)

Yeah, windowed mode is kind of sucky, but not too bad. Full screen is
better, although it letterboxes on mine - I have W2K in 1024x768,
whereas the native resolution is 1280x1024 at least. It used to mode
switch; now it just letterboxes. Dunno why. I have a feeling it's my X
setup though, cos it started when I went from X3 -> X4. Might have to
play tomorrow.

NAFAIK. It seems to put the server into some raw keyboard mode or
something, so the key strokes don't get through. I have to ctrl-alt-esc
to 'ungrab' the keyboard, but of course this sends the full-screen back
to windowed mode. I imagine it grabs the keyboard to send all keystrokes
to the host, but I wish it was configurable - if anyone knows any
different, shout!! I have searched about, and no solution thus far. I
can't personally think of a solution (writing my own software or not)
that would be able to achieve this functionality without breaking
X/vmWare, since I imagine vmWare would need to be told that it no longer
had the keyboard. Perhaps this is time to look at Flex86 again?
Cheers,
Alex.
