Erm, I think that the Ramen was RH specific - although I can't imagine
why, IIRC some if not all of the bugs present were kicking about in
bog standard releases of the daemon(s).
Dunno - I've slept since then, I've have to look at redhat.com again.

Apparently (from what I can see at redhat.com) Fisher/Wolverine -
RH7.1 Beta:

* Workstation installs are network-secure (services are off by default)

Which is a start - at least the number of zombie machines out there
might drop slightly.

Still - looks like server installs will be as bad as usual.
It's a start, I guess.
