[Sheflug] .gnu-emacs-custom

Hi

Thanks for the help with my previous question(s), here's the next one:-):
SuSE-6.3 updated to 7.0, in (GNU) Emacs I customised something using
help->customise->.... It created the .gnu-emacs-custom file. But, when I
start emacs it is not read. But if I go to this specific value in
customisation tree and say 'reset to saved' - it reads it... I didn't
modify any of the emacs files manually. Ideas?
