[Sheflug] No Sound from my CD Player

Dear All

Since I installed my CD-Recorder which now works very well I find 
that my CD player doesn't work properly.

I find that KSCD and the other CD players that come with SuSE 7.1 
will see the music CD in the drive but won't actually send a sound 
signal to the sound card and speakers.

I can listen to Radio 3 or Classic FM so Alsa is definitely working 
properly.  Kmix and other mixers are set the right way.  Just nothing 
coming out of the CD player.

Anyone make a suggestion about what to do with this ?
