If you have 2.2rX, and a woody mirror, change your
/etc/apt/sources.list. Where it says stable (or 2.2r2 or whatever),
write "unstable". My sources.list looks like this:

# See sources.list(5) for more information, especialy
# Remember that you can only use http, ftp or file URIs
# CDROMs are managed through the apt-cdrom tool.

deb-src http://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/ unstable main contrib non-free
deb http://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/ unstable main contrib non-free
#aviplay for debian!
deb http://gul.uc3m.es/~locke/debian unstable local
#New mozillas
deb http://people.debian.org/~kitame/mozilla ./

Then do an apt-get update, and then apt-get -s
diat-upgrade (see if it does something daft). When happy, do an apt-get
dist-upgrade, and you're on.

If you can't get a cheap network access to use apt through, you
can try burning the Unstable ISOs, available from Universidade da
Coruña (which incidentally, happens to be my home town,
hellooooooo!!!!), using rsync and all that stuff. They are to be found
in ftp://ceu.fi.udc.es/os/linux/cd-images, and you need the pseudo-image
kit and rsync to get them (or wait till I get hold of a CD-Writer, that
is :D)
