Yep - Jet Set Willy was the sequel to Manic Miner, the story being that
after having made a fortune finding stuff in his mining days, he had
enough to retire so had the big house...
Jet Set Willy was porbably the first ever game to have a form of copy
protection...which was basically a grid of coloured sqaures and the game
asked you what the colour of the sqaure at <grid reference> was.
Also a game that had a rather impressive prize to the first person to
finish it (champagene, helicopter flight, and other stuff, IIRC).
However, JSW had a bug in it, which a bunch of enterprising bods found,
which meant you couldn't actually complete the game.
But 'cos they found the bug, they won the prize :)
