If I just wanted to add one module would I just select it and then save and the go through the whole kernel installation thing. If it does use your current config then does that mean that if I upgraded to 2.4.3 it would use my current config as a base or would I have to set up everything?

Is there a way to use an existing kernel as a template? I just ask as
SuSE 7.1 did a good job from what I can tell when I installed, except it's
still got some sort of scsi support which I don't need. I don't suppose
I'd get any real performance increase - I'd just like to know for if I
upgrade to 2.4.x, which I'm thinking about.

Thanks
