I think I'll leave it thanks (KDE CDs). I haven't got this month's
LinuxFormat yet, but it's got KDE 2.1 on it hasn't it? I really can't be
bothered to reinstall another system - ie. Libranet, but Konqueror just
crashed again on me - for the umpteenth time - so 2.1 it is.
I was without a computer for eight or nine months, but still got all the
magazines - with all the distros - and when I was running again, I tried
out Debian (I couldn't configure X properly), Mandrake (a bit over-rated I
thought), TurboLinux (okay), and Corel (well, it was free), but went
out and bought SuSE 7.1 just 'cause I was so impressed with 6.2. After
that lot I can't face another format and then installing Libranet. I
think I'll stick with 7.1, try to figure out whatever's wrong with it, but
fail and then bother you lot with my inane questions.
Thanks
Harvey
