Uhm... well, don't frighten people:-)) I wouldn't call it 'the law', and
the lkml falk don't seem to be doing so either... There was such a
recommendation as a general rule, but... If you have 512M mem it doesn't
mean that you MUST have a gig of swap:-) You most probably don't have
to. Except if you are running a BIG BUSY server... But then, again, you
might want to increase your RAM.
