IIRC, it's automagic.
Try ssh'ing to a box running an Xserver, and run an command which will display
a window in X (xemacs, mozilla etc), and it should do all the rest for you.
You'll need the X forwarding set to yes on client and server - I can't
remember what the exact keyword is...I haven't got access to man pages or
config files from this annoying Windoze PC at work :-(
