[Sheflug] Getting XEmacs/VM (+other MUAS) to use remote mailserver

I was just wondering if I could get away without running Sendmail/QMail on my
desktop box, and just dedicate other machine (quark) to dealing with mail.

Setting up QMail on this machine is not a problem, I was just playing with
the
idea of not bothering, if quark could do the job.

I've got no issues with relaying from a QMail box (now that I've read the
manual :-)

At the moment XEmacs/VM doesn't appear to be connecting to the mailserver box
-
but I know that by telnetting to quark 25, I can send a test message by hand,
so
the server functions.

I think I'll set up QMail on my desktop machine for the moment, as I've done
in
the past.

Cheers.

Baz.
