We could argue about the better parts of KDE 2 and Gnome 1.4 forever. 
 Depends which one you like.  I'm still using Windowmaker on my 
desktop and KDE 2.1.1 on my notebook.  Then again, on my notebook I 
use whichever WM I feel like using whenever I switch the machine on.  
All of them are brilliant :)

If it's RH then you can open a root console and type 'setup'.  That 
should get you into an X configuration window.

Will someone please correct me if I'm wrong here ?
