[Sheflug] ifconfig and aliases

Hi,

I have a network with this alias:


eth1:2    Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:60:08:51:BE:DE
          inet addr:195.92.52.93  Bcast:195.92.52.255  Mask:255.255.255.0
          UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST  MTU:1500  Metric:1
          Interrupt:10 Base address:0xd400

In the dcoumentation you can set it to up or down, but how do you DELETE the
entry.  If I set it to down, then when you reboot, it is active again.

Any thoughts?
