I don't know - I think it's probably because of the current down-turn in the
IT sector: nine months ago there were loads of jobs about (in London, for
example), now, there's very little and a lot of companies laying off staff
:(

It's on AC's page (linux.org.uk). It's not on the Expo pages yet, but I
doubt it's a hoax given that Alan has posted it - I suspect someone's
whispered in his ear.
