If this is SuSE 7.2 then all you have to do is change the
configuration file with YaST. Nothing more than that.
Open up YaST and look for the part of the menu that mentions the
config file. Then select start DHCP and that's it.
Mine works fine on my laptop. Even used it on the Debian stand at
the Linux Expo.
