No. hostname = me, hosts = them. Unless you have something in your init
script which does a reverse lookup on 127.0.0.1 to get the hostname, you
change the hostname file. It's often nice to have an entry in hosts too, so
the machine can find an IP addresses associated with the name. At least,
that's how I've always done it, there are probably better (ie. correct) ways
of doing it :)
