The other thing is to watch that the Uni doesn't expect students to
use specific calculators - I had to shun my TI-85 in favour of the
department's "approved" calculator - a horrid little casio number.

James Thin appear to sell calculators, and the prices don't seem that
different to what I paid 6 years ago,

I'd have a look at the TI-85 over the 82 or 83, it seemed a little
easier to use, and had a few more handy functions, IIRC.
