[Sheflug] ISDN cards under linux, attempt #2
Hiya,
Apologies if people get this twice, but I've not seen my original come
through yet despite sending it at about 6.30pm last night :)
Does anyone know of a list of compatible ISDN cards for Linux? I've found
that any card with the Seimens HiSax chipset is supported but that's not
really any use - I can't tell one of my collegauges at work what cards
would work in a box.
Reason is that the ISDN card in the firewall looks like it's gone kaput.
That's an old Teles card, and it's done well, but now needs a replacement,
else we don't have internet access at work.
Any good names for kit that can be bought off-the-shelf welcome ... we're
probably looking at buying the stuff from PC World as we have a corporate
account with them, plus we can drive over there to pick anything up if
needed. So no complaints about this ...
Thanks,
Chris...who may or may not be reading email depending on what happens today
with inet access...
