[Sheflug] Debian install problems.
Hi everyone.
I've just subscribed this address for a while because I'm at work and have
nothing better to do but install linux :-)
I took the Toshiba I got the other day back, and am now the proud, but
slightly annoyed owner of a HP Omnibook 800CT (166MMX, 48Mb), complete with
external floppy drive and CDROM.
I've managed to get a base system installed on to the system, but rebooting
the machine to begin installing all the packages fails - I get following error
messages:
[several times]
/bin/sh: /sbin/termwrap: No file or directory
/bin/sh: exec: /sbin/termwrap: cannot execute: No such file or directory
then,
INIT: Id "1" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 mins.
At which point it hangs for a few minutes, and splurges the same lines.
What is happening?
Cheers.
Baz.
