I have downloaded the latest version of SANE and the plustek driver.

It's probably got more to do with me not knowing what I am doing!!
I am getting loads of error messages when I compile the plustek driver, some of
them were
solved when I installed the Kernel source code but I cannot figure the other
messages out.
Anyway
If somebody can show me what I need to do on my laptop then I might have a
chance of getting it to
work again on my desktop when I get home.
