[Sheflug] connections

I havbe installed Suse 7.2 and seems well, except internet connection. In
wvdial it will dial seem to conect give the message carrier received waiting
for prompt and then disconnect? in the internet conection, is this kppp? it
gives all the signs of having connected including telling me how long on
line and yet when I try to connect to internet or mail or news it gives the
message, server not found.
Any help?
