[Sheflug] Wireless Internet Workshop 9/10th November

A wireless Internet workshop has been organised in Sheffield for 9/10th
November.  We intend to follow models developed by Consume
(http://consume.net/), who will be coming along, and the LRP
(http://master-www.linuxrouter.org:8080/).

The venue for both days has been confirmed as the Redundant Technology
Initiative, Access Space, 1 Sidney Street, Sheffield S1 4RG
(http://www.lowtech.org) which is opposite the Rutland Pub in town.

There might be more details to follow but a provisional agenda is to build
and site wireless nodes on the Friday.  Then at the workshop proper on
Saturday, we will demonstrate functional components and investigate with
attendees where additional nodes could be installed and review how it's all
done.  The workshop is free to attend so please make a note in your diaries
if you are interested.
