How are they supposed to make money if you don't pay for it?
Free software is not always free software, but in the case of SuSE I don't
think it's even Free - the licence for YaST is fairly restrictive, IIRC.
If you want a cheap OS that you can continually upgrade, get Debian or
Mandrake. If you want the latest and greatest SuSE on your machine, then you
need to pay for the boxed set. That's how it is. Given that it's one tenth
the price of a Windows set, and that we have a choice of distributions (&
hence competition), I don't think you can complain :)
