Yes thats me.  the mistake people make is thinking of the health service
as a deliverer of health care, it's not ....it's a large clumbersome 
organastionfor pushing paper around. patient care as nowt to do with it.

The IT staff it employs in my day could just about make it in window's work
they where more used to amstrad. and it as a funny system of buying
goods and service's,  eg. if your the person spending money say 2 million
your not allowed to go and see the kit that the manufacture is offering
{ you may take a bribe}  you have to buy through a central purchasing 
authority.  which can have 5 or 6 layers  ie hospital, area, region, national.
department, and no one appears to be responsable, they all have committee's
and pass the buck around, add to that local councillers, diastrict councillers
that county lot, MP's, ministers. old uncle tom Cobley and all, and money 
gets wasted,

they have already wasted billions on IT systems that won't work, it  is no
supprise me a bit that that they will waste money on a systemn like windows
after all IT dept's have to heve something to do.
