dogfox:/home/will# dpkg -S `which ps2pdf`
gs-common: /usr/bin/ps2pdf

Debian still has it. Ghostscript 6.51. It should be on sourceforge.
If you're generating PDFs from LaTeX I would recommend using pdflatex 
instead, it seems to produce better output.

pstoedit converts to a format xfig can load so you can edit graphical figures.
