Nowt wrong with the 2.2 kernels, though if possible I'd upgrade to 2.2.20 to
fix the security problems in 2.2.19 (and earlier ... ptrace exploit and deep
symlink DOS).

Whilst I'll happily run 2.4 at home however, I don't yet trust it to put it
on a production box...I've seen too many OOPs's in it (about 4 or 5) and
failure to build (twice) compared to 2.2 (zero in both counts).
