RE: [Sheflug] CDROM's and Xcd roast
Thanks for the pointers so far. I indeed changed my symlinks and have been
able to copy data cd's and files from hard drive happily to CD-R. Strangely
though when i attempt to mount an audio cd I get
bash-2.05# mount /dev/cdrom
/dev/cdrom: Input/output error
mount: you must specify the filesystem type
but when i mount a data cd all is happy
Any help out there??

This looks OK. The bit about the errors is just the ZIP not having a
disk (mine does it too).
Do the device files /dev/scd0 and /dev/scd1 actually exist? You may have
to change your symlinks to:
ln -s /dev/sr0 /dev/cdrecorder
ln -s /dev/sr1 /dev/cdrom
Other than that, *shrug*
