[Sheflug] Installing Linux on my VAIO

I have had my Sony VAIO PCG-FX301 for a few months,
and have been running it with Windows ME (standard
software) and SuSE Linux. I was thinking of installing
Debian on it, but I've never touched Debian before.
I've got some info about installing Linux on my
specific laptop, but it's not as much as I'd like. Can
anyone point me to somewhere where there is info on
installing Debian or give me some help here?
