[Sheflug] SuSE7.2 kernel configuration

Does anyone know which option enables the graphical console on bootup?  
I've reconfigured the kernel and looked through the diffs with the 
original config files but still can't find it.  Also can't find the 
option which creates /proc/config.gz which is in the 7.2 kernel sources 
and I find handy.

I'm running vmware 3.0 under SuSE 7.2 on my laptop if anyone is 
interested.   Works pretty well only I don't have printing or sound 
(linux kernel modules config problem). Currently the "guest" system is 
win2k but it might be fun to try installing a linux as well..

Hope to be able to make the next meeting next Saturday but probably not 
till 3pm.

PS Richard, thanks for your message which I didn't get until my return 
from Oz to general chaos and another disk crash :-( but I'll reply in 
due course.
