[Sheflug] Help with Apache/PHP/Perl

Hello all,

I'm trying to get Apache v1.3.19 running with PHP and Perl support. My
system is SuSE 7.0 and I've downloaded the mod_perl, mod_php and libc rpms
from their downloads and patches page. However, when
I try to start the httpd daemon, it fails and I get the following entry in
/var/log/httpd/rcapache.log

Syntax error on line 376 of /etc/httpd/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/lib/apache/mod_example.so into server:
/usr/lib/apache/mod_example.so: cannot open shared object file: No such
file or directory

Line 376 of /etc/httpd/httpd.conf is simply this

LoadModule example_module /usr/lib/apache/mod_example.so

Now obviously I'm missing this module but my questions are these,

a) where can I find it? and
b) do I really need it?

All help gratefully acknowledged

Steve
